Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before booking a hot air balloon flight using Turkiyeballoons.com. These terms and conditions apply to all bookings regardless of the sales channel used. By using our website, you warrant and represent that you are legally competent to contract and that you are responsible for all payments resulting from your booking.
1.PAYMENT
1.1. To secure your booking, full payment must be made online from your credit card, unless otherwise agreed by the company. All hot air balloon flights are subject to availability. By using our website to make your payment, we acknowledge that the cardholder of the card used in the booking has authorized this payment.
2. PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF SERVICE
2.1. Customers will be informed via email one day before their scheduled flight. Based on estimates of travel distances, pick-up times are planned by our expert operators and are advised to customers in good faith. However, sometimes traffic on the route and one-way systems may cause slight delays. As such delays are beyond the company's reasonable control, Turkey Ballooning will not be liable for any inconvenience caused in these circumstances.
3. CUSTOMER'S PROPERTY
3.1. The Company does not accept responsibility for lost or stolen baggage / personal belongings.
4. MONEY CONVERSION
4.1. Turkiyeballoons.com's currency converter uses the daily TCBM (Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey) exchange rates. For online payments, the supported exchange rates are listed as follows:
- Turkish Lira (TL)
- Dollar (USD)
- Euro (EUR)
4.2. If your local currency is not supported as a convenient payment method on our website, your bank may apply additional currency conversion fees to your total payments and refunds. In this case, Turkey Ballooning is not liable to pay compensation for any possible deductions associated with currency conversion fees.
4.3. If the value of the currency you used at the time of booking decreases after conversion, you will incur an exchange rate loss when receiving your refund. In such a case, Turkey Ballooning is not liable to pay compensation for any losses you incur due to currency fluctuations.
5. CANCELLATION AND REFUND RULES
5.1. Turkey Ballooning reserves the right to cancel your flight at any time without prior notice if prevailing conditions pose a risk to flight safety. If your balloon flight is canceled due to unsafe weather conditions, you will be given a choice of 3 options
- Full refund of your original ticket OR
- An alternative flight the day after your original scheduled flight (Note: This option is subject to seat availability), OR
- A ticket with the same flight type as your original booking on a later date of your choice (Note: This option is subject to seat availability)
5.2. If you voluntarily cancel your flight, you will be automatically charged for the cancellation fees. To be eligible for a full refund, you must cancel your reservation at least 7 days before the scheduled flight. To cancel your flight, you must send your cancellation request via email to [email protected].
Cancellation fees vary depending on the date of voluntary cancellation. Cancellation fees are detailed in the table below:

5.4. All refunds are made in the same payment mode and are issued in the currency used at the time of booking. Under normal circumstances, refunds are processed immediately upon receipt of the cancellation request. Depending on the processing time of the bank, it may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your credit card book. If after 10 business days you have not received your refund, please contact our accounting department via email at [email protected].
5.5. Turkey Ballooning is not liable to pay compensation if we are prevented from providing any part of your flight or if there is any disruption in the performance of any part of your flight, even if all due care has been taken, due to unusual and unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. These circumstances and events are set out below:
- Unexpected weather changes.
- Emergency landing.
- Perceived safety threats.
- Technical problems.
- Terrorist activity or threat.
- Natural or nuclear disasters
6. AGE, HEIGHT, WEIGHT AND OTHER LIMITS
6.1. Before reading the following age, height and weight restrictions, please note that these limits are imposed to prevent potential safety hazards and to ensure the comfort of all passengers.
Age
Children under 5 years of age are not allowed to participate in hot air balloon flights. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Altitude
You must be at least 1.4 m tall and be able to take the landing position when needed.
Weight
Passengers over 120 kg are subject to a surcharge.
Other Limits
Passengers over the 6th week of their pregnancy cannot be flown. Due to the fact that hot air balloons are not manufactured for wheelchairs, we regret that disabled passengers cannot be flown.
